Missing on screen, prominent on Facebook

*Why these ex-screen goddesses are still admirable!
Several years after they ruled the screen in the early 90s with their rare talents and radiating beauties, light-complexioned former actress Alex Lopez alongside Sandra Achums and Regina Asika-Williams have refused to fade into memories.
Though they have long quit acting, they now live abroad with their families. These actresses who became popular following their roles in Zeb Ejiro’s evergreen movie, “Domitilla” and “Full Moon” are still dazzling fans with their amazing looks and personalities. They have shown everyone how not to ignore their fans even when they are miles away from them.

Hooking up with their fans on Faceook, and other social media platform several years after they disappeared from the screen only helped to rekindle the attention and glamour their past works have brought to them. In fact, if there is anything the former screen goddesses have missed over the years, it’s definitely not their fans, as they are constantly in touch with them via Facebook.

Sandra Achums
Like Regina Asika-Williams who is currently based in the United States with her family, Sandra Achums is always on Facebook, displaying her latest acquisitions and updating her fans regarding the new grounds she’s breaking in Germany.
At one time, Achums shared on Facebook, pictures of her four kids who are growing fast in Germany including her eldest son who celebrated his 9th birthday at the Blu bowl in Nurnberg where the family resides.
Before relocating to Germany, Achums dazzled many movie lovers in Nigeria with her acting prowess. Those who were not privileged to meet her when she was ruling the screens in the early 90s should watch movies like “Expensive Game 1&2”,
“Against the World”, “Ashanti, Blue Sea”, “ Outkast 1&2 and Domitila” amongst others. The ageless actress and mother of 4 may have been missed on screen, but she’s happily living it up to the hilt in Germany. Some of her fans on Facebook, re-affirmed her beauty, describing her as “a beauty to behold”, and stressing that she’s always on point. Beyond this however, the truth is that Sandra has resurfaced on Facebook, and she’s looking no less glamorous and tempting, conveying indeed a silent message that her decision to quit acting was in good faith.
Alex Lopez
Meanwhile, the whereabouts of Alex López cannot be ascertained, but one thing is certain, and that is the fact that the actress is currently visible on facebook than she is on screen.

Lopez who acted lesbian in Zeb Ejiro’s “Domitilla” and in Faruk Lasaki’s “Changing Faces” where she played Franca, the caring Nigerian wife of Dale, a successful white architect undoubtedly has continued to dazzle those that watched these two films years back. Her excellent performance in these movies earned her other movie roles like, “Piccidally,” “Daughters of Eve,” “Moving Train,” “Sex & Marriage,” “Dangerous Girls,” “Abuja Connection 2&3,” “Emotional Hazard,” “The One I Love,” “Akata,” “Catastrophe,” “Jungle Justice,” “Remarkable Pains,” “Scout,” “Sisters On the Run,” “Six Problem Girls,” “The Good The Bad And The Terrible” and “Walls Have Ears,” before she disappeared into thin air. For excellent interpretation of roles, one of her fans wrote on her Facebook page: “I have never seen any of the new generation actresses that can match or even surpass your acting prowess. You were very bold and daring in your films. Thanks to God for Facebook to reconnect with you again.”
Alex Lopez who has a Brazilian father and Nigerian mother is one actress who managed to remain in the limelight after many years of doing the screen business. Her sojourn in the industry dates back to 1993, when she contested for the popular beauty pageant, MBGN, and emerged second runner up. Still unmarried, Lopez has a son whom she’s proud of and whose pictures she is always willing to share on Facebook.
Regina Asika-Williams
Till date, Regina Asika-Williams is a beauty to behold. A former beauty queen, she came to limelight after she participated in the 1988 edition of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN).

Though she was highly tipped to wear the crown, she eventually lost it to Bianca Ojukwu. Since then, Regina has not ceased to be in the eye of the public. She left the stage in the 90s when the ovation was still loud, and relocated with her family to the United States, where she is now working as a medical personnel. Despite missing on screen, Regina is a hard nut to crack when it comes to relating with her fans back home on Facebook. She has continued to make headlines in recent years for different reasons which many described as ‘worth making the eyes roll.” In the recent past, she posted some of her pictures on her Facebook wall and those who sighted her backside could not but marvel at the beauty she still commands. Some were tempted to ask if the 48 year-old ex-beauty queen does not age at all. Her mini-skirt, showing her smooth and straight legs also ignited the strong desire of some fans.
While admiring her flawless beauty, one of the fans described her as”a paragon of beauty.” Others want her to return to her first love – acting. They expressed their feelings this way, “ We missed your roles in the movie.”
Delectable and refreshingly beautiful; foremost screen goddess. When are we going to have another “Regina” walk the red carpet?” Truly Regina desires all the accolades she’s getting several years after she stayed off screen, and this is a testament to the fact that she is an iconic actress who will forever live in the minds and hearts of those that cherish her work
